Many Americans Likely to Swap Traditional Television Tech with Tablets & New Media in 2013

I was reading an article recently from Cabling  Installation  an Maintenence  Magazine  that stated: Thirty-nine percent of U.S. adults between the ages of 18 and 34 would consider replacing their television cable/satellite provider with a streaming media subscription service in 2013. This is according to the results of a new survey released today by Belkin , a leading provider of easy-to-use, people-inspired technology products for today's connected home. Being that I like dabbling a bit in home AV and streaming entertainment from sources such as Netflix and Amazon, I figured it is only a matter of time before things dramatically change as to how we get our programming. For years Cable TV and the various Satalite companies have had too much exclusitivity and too much power on how we watch TV. Most people I know who have cable or satalte TV tell me the same thing. They would like to pick and choose which programs they want and it would be nice to only pay for those and not the 100 plus other channels that they have no interest in. With more and more options becoming availabe on line, hopefully TV will give us many choices of what we want to watch. What do you think?
