Looking for Patch Cables, Cable or Mini-Com ?

Legrand and Superior Essex establish nCompass cabling system alliance

Sometimes it's hard to keep up with all the changes in the Data-com industry. New products are continuously being added. Another aspect of this industry that is sometimes hard to track is which manufacturers are partnered with who. Since cat 5 first came about, wire manufacturers and connectivity manufacturers sometimes join forces to come up with a supposed end to end optimised solution. The premise is that both of the companies technical people collaborated to make sure that all parts are optimized for maximum performance. Their may be some credence to this but all these category connectivity  systems are supposed to conform to an open standard of interoperability so that if the product conforms to the standard in will perform correctly to the level it is certified at. Open standards also are supposed make it easier and less expensive to install and add to network system by creating more competition.  There always seems to be a lot of marketing hoopla around these partnerships in order to convince the end user that they are getting the best possible performance.
